Business experience
I have worked in a variety of office settings for over thirty years, each time increasing my administrative experience. From a small construction office to a financial and real estate firm, to a large multi-partner law firm, to different university centers, departments, and institutes. (Please refer to the printable resume if you'd like additional work and education details.) Hillary Hutchinson & Associates, LLC was founded in 2007.
My work life began when faxes were king and computers were enormous workstations that did very little beyond word-processing. It has continued through the current era of desktop computers, all-in-one fax-printer-scanner-copier equipment and PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants). I have kept pace through it all and can help you move from chaos to order now!

Education
I received my Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from George Washington University (1982). I hold two masters degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Arts in Social Anthropology (1984), and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration (2006).
Resume
You could say I have a passion for reading and learning. Among other topics, I have spent years researching and studying both the mental and physical aspects of getting and staying organized, learning the hard way through the school of hard knocks. If there was a mistake to be made, I made it, but through trial and error, I have been able continuously improved the quality of my organizational abilities.
My goal continues to be finding simple, easy to implement ideas that work in the real world. Toward this end, I became a
CERTIFIED GO (Getting Organized!)SYSTEM TRAINER
The National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) provides me additional educational resources for enhancing my skill set. I am also the Treasurer for the local NAPO chapter.
